| Post Graduate Diploma in Graphics and Animation | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| Objective: Aesthetically enriched, technology-enabled animation programme will focus on character drawing, basic film techniques, modeling, claymation, 2D software training, 3D modeling, Non-linear editing, compositing, sound recording and music. Students opting for this programme will be provided full-fledged animation lab and will be trained by the experts from animation industry. Students successfully completing the programme will take up individual assignments in animation for broadcast and interactive media. |

Scope: Animation industry in India is expected to have an exponential growth with the demands of trained animators doubling in the coming years. In the KINFRA Video and Animation Park, where DC Media School is located, a special economic zone for full fledged animation production is being set-up. Leading animation firms located in India and abroad are planning to set-up their production units in the Animation Park. DC Media School is also planning to enter into partnership with leading animation and gaming companies to undertake outsourced assignments. The learning will be organized through specific workshops in each aspect of animation filmmaking conducted by the practitioners from the leading firms in India. |
